Active Hobby Japan was one of the first to produce a countersteer CS modified kit for the Yokomo Drift Package chassis. Active Hobby makes two different countersteer kits for the Yokomo DP, Stage 1 and Stage 2 kit. Stage 1 gears kit are fitted in the rear differential for over-drive. Stage 2 gears kit are fitted in the front differential for under-drive ratio. Both gear kits will give a combination ratio of 1.83CS ratio.
This gear set is great for any beginner looking to start their path down the countersteer modified drifters category. The Stage 1 CS gears will provide a ratio of 1:1.30 (30% rear overdrive), just enough to get started into countersteer drift RC. These gears are also available for rear solid axle or rear ball differential.
The Stage 2 CS gears alone will provide an under-driven ratio of 1.40. The stage 2 gears are available for a Front One-way or Ball differential, both sets are available separately per user preference. Combine the two Stage 1 and Stage 2 together for a 1.83 CS Ratio. A good 2 step process for gradually integrating CS into your regular RC Drift setup.
