Recently announced from Active Hobby comes this decal for creating your own custom Japanese license plate. These are made for 1/10 scale and are available now for an MSRP of around $6 USD. These are not as cool as the 3D plates available from Wrap Up Next. But for only $6 you can create your own custom plate, however you see fit (hopefully you can read Japanese) 🙂
