Eagle is adding more aluminum alloy R31 option parts to their growing line-up. The latest release being the OTA-R31 steering linkages, which is compatible for any R31 based chassis that utilize the R31 steering assembly. The latest R31 steering assembly appears to be the traditional R31 linkage made in aluminum. There are no significant improvements or adjustments made to the steering assembly.
The Street Jam OTA-R31 steering assembly was already one of the best during its initial market release. The steering angle on the R31 was already capable of parallel steering geometry and large steering angles. There was not need to make any significant improvements to the overall steering assembly design. This option part is the alloy equivalent for greater stiffness and durability. Complete with ball bearings for better operation. This is a good option part for those that have a desire to stylize and personalize their drift RC chassis. Available in blue or gold anodized aluminum to best match your personal style.

Beautiful piece, but bearing outer diameter on my linkage is not very tight. Particularly the left linkage – ended up using stock left linkage. Going to try and remount with plumbers tape wrapped around the bearing to soak up the loose fit.
interesting, is this the first time Eagle products do not fit properly?
Pretty much. The conversion chassis (longitude battery) was quite tight getting the battery bulkheads to mount. But otherwise, everything I’ve ordered has been a good fit.
