Eagle racing has announced countersteer gears for the Tamiya TB-03. This is great news for anyone with the TB-03D and wanting to try a mild countersteer mod without investing in a new chassis. The Eagle Racing kit includes a 39, 36, and 33 ball differential ring gears (made to fit the Eagle Racing TB-03 Spool or Tamiya Ball diff). Included in the set is also 16T bevel pinion gears and a set of propeller shafts to accommodate the the difference in sizes of ring gears used. This is a great option for all TB-03 owners now that want to attempt a countersteer modifications. This could not come at a better time as the Tamiya VDS will be released late next month. These gears will also be useful for anyone looking to custom CS modify their shaft driven chassis.

Future looks bright for the TB03. I may want to invest in getting one of these. I hope these gears aren’t crap like Active’s.

I agree, but active gears are not made for the tb03. Hope these will be better, but not impressed at all with the ratio available…. better than nothing i guess 🙂
