Introduction
RC OMG is new to the RC Drift servo market. We recently came in contact with RC OMG and agreed to do some testing. Our first introduction to the RC OMG series of servos is the Low Voltage Titanium gear series. We received three (3) low voltage servos for testing, LD062070B, LD062150B and LD062200B. These digital servos are conventionally sized, equipped with titanium gears and brushless motors. These servos vary in torque rating and speed but their specifications compete with some of the best servos already out in the market. For a new company RC OMG is stepping up and competing with the best brands out there. RC OMG manufactures a complete line up of servos for all RC applications, air and surface, ideal for anyone in the hobby that does more than just on-road or drift.
Product Review
Overall Quality
We have been very impressed with the quality of the products. They come in a very well packaged casing that includes most standard servo arms and hardware associated with it. These servos also come with a nicely anodized aluminum heat-sink, which adds to the style and cooling of the servo itself. These RC OMG servos are very good quality.
Now for the specs of these servos.

Overall Performance
These RC OMG servos perform just as good if not better than the other major manufacturers on the market. We made some unofficial comparisons to other digital servos such as Savox, Futaba and Hitec with relatively the same specs. The RC OMG servos manage to compete with or out perform these very popular brands. Overall we were very impressed with the performance of these RC OMG servos.
The LDT062070B is a low voltage Ultra Speed servo. It is very fast servo with a lower torque rating than the others. The lower torque rating is still adequate for RC Drift purposes. The speed of the servo is extremely fast, a bit more than any servo we are accustomed to. It felt as if the servo was faster than my reaction time to steering input. The entire steering range is very smooth once you adjust to the speed of the servo. Holding precision is also a very impressive, it still holds very well even when bouncing over a bump on the track surface or Tetsujin Kerbs. The high speed is really the most impressive aspect of this servo.
The LDT062150B is rated as a high torque servo. Torque delivery is almost double than of the ultra speed servo. The speed of this servo is slower, but is still nothing to laugh at. At 0.08/0.07s it is only marginally slower than the ultra speed with a significant amount of holding torque. The speed of this servo is more commonly used for on-road chassis and RC Drift chassis. A very good servo, personally we feel this is more than adequate for any drifter out there for speed, the torque rating is significantly better. The higher torque rating would help if driving on rough or uncleaned surfaces. The precision of this servo is also very good, it holds and adjusts very well throughout the entire steering range with ease.
The LD062200B is another high torque servo. The speed is slightly slower than the LD062150B, but the torque is much greater. This servo is also very precise and speed is nothing to be laughed at. This servo is more than capable for on road or RC Drift. This high torque rating is not necessary for RC drifters, but would be more suited for the rally type RC fans. With that said, this can be easily used for RC Drift, currently it is resting in a DM Yokomo DIB.
Overall Value
The LD series RC OMG servos MSRP for $89.99USD. The target audience of these servos are all levels of users, from beginner to expert. Where performance is crucial at a reasonable cost. These servos cost more but performance is worth the cost. The speed, precision and torque of these servos have stood up to our expectations of any electronics, the only aspect we are not fully aware of yet is the longevity of it. We will continue to test these servos until they fail, which will ultimately decide the value of this product. The value may not be there for the budget drifters, but for those that demand more out of their electronics, RC OMG may be a good choice.
Conclusion
RC OMG is new to the RC market, but their products feels like they have been in development for many years. These servos perform just as well if not better than some of the other manufacturers out there. After a couple months of testing, these servos are still performing as well as they did on day 1. We have been very impressed with RC OMG servos, the only test that remains is an endurance test. These servos are higher priced than others with the same specifications, but we believe would be more reliable. The performance of these RC OMG servos are very impressive and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a new servo. At least consider it in your next purchase, include it in your comparison of other servos of the same caliber, you may be surprised at what they can offer. If you like speed, the ultra speed servo is a good choice, although RC OMG has others that are quicker. If you drive on rough surfaces, the higher torque rating may be a better choice. We feel that the LD062150B is a good medium for both speed and torque. RC OMG has a wide selection of other servos, ultimately it is up to user preference when it comes to speed of your servo.
