Eagle Racing has revised their GRT conversion kit chassis for the Tamiya TA-05 Version II chassis. The new eagle racing GRT chassis is also called version 2, not to be confused with TA-05 V2; you can read more about the original conversion kit here. The new version 2 GRT kit has been upgraded with the new steering components for 50º of steering angle. good day sir.. I recently bought this kit along with the Eagle racing bulk heads.. however the internals of the bulkhead seem different from the plastic bulkheads.. please help..
what do you mean the internals? From what I remember, all you need from the stock bulkheads is the adjustable cams that the bearings fit into.
can i buy those cams separately?
They come in a big plastic parts tree. But you TA05 should have them! when you remove the top of the bulkhead, there are pieces on either side that hold the bearing. Those two pieces come apart, the cam is in the center with the notches. That is what should fit into the aluminum bulkhead
i sold my TA05 just recently, unknowingly, the Bulkheads from Eagle racing doesn’t come with adjustable cams (Belt tensioner) that’s why I needed to buy one.. hehe..
