Tamiya Porsche 911 – Carrera RSR Body

Check out this new body release from Tamiya; the 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RSR RC Body. This is one of those classic bodies that still looks good today. This is a clear polycarbonate body parts set of the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR race car. It is made out of 1mm thick polycarbonate. The set includes masking seals for the windows and a sticker set to replicate the Carrera RSR Team livery.
It is a legendary Group 4 car which had a body weighing just 900kg with a 300hp-plus horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine, and still holds a place in automotive enthusiast’s hearts today thanks to its exploits with racing teams the world over. In 1973, the year of its release, it won the European GT Championship, plus the renowned 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring races. The works prototype in predominantly silver livery with the Martini stripe also took the checkered flag in the famed Targa Florio race.

  1. Would this body fit HPI Sprint 2’s? Looks like the rear end is a bit wider..perhaps with 0mm rims upfront and 6mm’s in the back?

      1. Dude your awesome. Going to order. I was skeptical because the porsche chassis is a bit different than the other tt02s. Maybe im mistaken
