Team Suzuki is set to launch their new high angle universal drive shafts for the Yokomo Drift Package chassis. Now Drift Package users will have more options when selecting options parts. The new universal drive-shafts are capable of up to 58 or 59 degrees of steering angle, but 55 degrees is the guaranteed value. One of the most distinguishing features of the driftshafts is the weight that is fitted on the swing shaft portion. The purpose of the weight is to balance the drive-shaft to keep it from unnecessary movements. Check them out today.
Another good feature about these high angle drive shafts is a new C-clip to hold the cross joint pin. This will reduce any unnecessary pin wear and stress from the grub screw holder. The added weight on the swing shafts is another feature of the Team Suzuki drive shafts. The weight ensures that the the driveshafts operate more efficiently. It will reduce the amount of vibration and chatter experienced from other driveshafts without the balancing weight, the result is a smoother running universal shafts. They are still experimenting with how much weight to use. Currently we are unsure of the release date or price of these parts, but it should be very soon.
Yokomo has confirmed that these new universal driveshafts are compatible with the Yokomo DRB chassis if C-clip (DRB-010TPC 380) is used for the joints.
It can also be used in combination (DRB-010TPC ● 380) C clip for the DRB to the joints. – Yokomo
