Recently revealed at the 2014 Nuremberg Toyfair was the Serpent S411 Drift (unofficial name.) Loosely based off the S411 ERYX, this car features a front one-way and a rear spool. Crucial to any car running a higher CS rate, the car also features a new higher angle steering system. We are not clear on if the car comes CS or 50/50 out of the box.
The car features a classic mid-front motor layout with a low mounted spur reminiscent of the DRB and E4D MF. A lower spec RTR version will also be released in the future. Expected release is to be late Spring. Personally I’m excited to see another big name high end manufacturer getting into the R/C drift game. As a former on-road nitro guy, I love Serpent products and am impressed with the quality and materials of their kits.
