Overdose 4WD Shaft Driven RC Drift Chassis

Finally we have details on this new Shaft Driven RC Drift Chassis from WeldxOverdose. We don’t know the name of this chassis yet, as details are still becoming available. It has a very interesting design, you will notice the unique layout and drivetrain. This marks the first shaftie where the battery can sit in the center. Overdose has created an original designed bevel gear layout. This new bevel gear layout will eliminate counter torque. They finally succeeded to equalize this counter torque which is critical for handling shaft drive RC cars. High quality hardened steel is used for this bevel gear.
As you know that shaft drive system have a typical phenomenon which is easily turn around when you give too much accelerator all of a sudden. This is just because usually the motor power transmit to the shaft drive in one direction. The new bevel gear layout separate motor power to the different direction to the front and rear differential.
This is a high-end Overdose chassis and made specifically for RC drifting. This is a cultivation of everything Overdose has learned from their previously designed option parts for various other chassis in the market. This chassis will be in very high demand!
This has been talked about for the last few weeks after pictures showed up, this new chassis from Overdose will be available in Purple and Red. We are expecting it to become available in August/September 2014, and will sell out fast. Check your bank account, as we expect it will have a MSRP over $1,000 USD.

  1. looking for a new drift car too. But Overdose: 1) price is twice as much as it should be 2) hard to find. 3). Hard to find parts. 4) by the time the hype dies down it can’t be found

      1. It’s not that hard to find parts lol, just go to any JAPANESE RC dealer that sells overseas…simple as buying TE37’s for your real car from Ray’s Engineering or anything that has to deal with JDM parts. For sure you won’t find it in your local “5 and Dime” but this is a JDM market chassis so the bling factor and uniqueness is the price people might pay for that exclusive feeling.
