Yokomo has just announced the MD 2.0 Champion Edition.
The car that Team Yokomo’s Kai Ito won the world championship at the world-class drift event “WTDC” held in Malaysia is now available as a product model!
The base machine is the MD2.0, and while taking advantage of its high rear traction, it has a front-to-rear balance that emphasizes steering operability. The front lower arm is also made of resin short arms instead of ball pivot graphite, which improves ease of handling and response. Since the suspension structure provides sufficient rear grip, the motor is deliberately set in a low position to achieve agile maneuverability. By eliminating the sluggishness that is common with high-mounted motors, the fighting power in chase scenes is increased.
