The Tamiya 5th generation TA chassis is one of the best evolutions of a Touring Car chassis. The new VDF Drift RC Spec chassis was originally released in 2010 and regarded by many as the best RC drift chassis on the market. Tamiya released the TA-05 VDF Gold Edition chassis early in 2011. Tamiya has done a magnificent job with this chassis, it is the gold anodized and lightly upgraded version compared to its predessor.
