Today Yokomo announced a Red version of the Drift Package DRB Hyper Traction SSG Chassis. The new red version is expected to be released late January 2012. The new high traction chassis will enhance both traction and maneuverability. The new chassis has been enhanced to provide mechanical chassis traction control for optimal RC drifting specifications.
YOKOMO DRB is a true high-end drift RC chassis without compromise. This chassis is targeted for intermediate to expert level RC drifters. The Yokomo DRB is a cleverly designed front mid-ship motor layout and propelled by 2 belts. The DRB is the leading high-end drift chassis in the RC drift market.
The new Yokomo DRB Hyper traction chassis now features red anodized aluminium for the best aesthetics. The new DRB also utilizes the Hyper Traction SSG chassis that was recently released by Yokomo. The new dual deck chassis is made of a 2.0mm thick silver graphite chassis plate for optimal flex and durability. The new chassis utilizes the flex in the chassis to utilize mechanical grip on the track, the result is greater traction and speed for RC drifting.
A major upgrade that this chassis received is the full 45° steering angle; with adjustable Ackerman positions. This new feature is ideal for the countersteer drifters that now have a choice between parallel steering or Ackerman steering characteristics. Testing of this chassis reveals that it is very stable in both high and low speed situations. It maintains its performance in any situations and is an excellent performer for Drift RC.
Yokomo always used the best materials available when creating this Special Edition chassis. The Special Silver Graphite is of the highest quality available and all aluminum parts are machined to the strictest of Yokomo standards. This is a high performance, high-end Drift RC chassis, it will outperform anything else at the local drift track while looking good doing it. It is well worth checking out if you can afford the price tag of the chassis kit at approximate MSRP of ¥68,670.
