SP OTA-R31 Lightweight Rear Pulley Mount
Approximate MSRP: ¥1680JPY

Nice..they only need to make the front pulley holder to make a perfect R31. I’m ordering as soon as I can. I think Street Jam did wrong in selling this part for 100$ (+/-). Eagle sells this for 11$
A question: I need to buy this? http://broadtechonlineshop.com/eagleshop/shop/ShopProductDetail.aspx?id=R31-21
(I have the Eagle graphite chassis for the r31)
haha was going to post those pieces later 🙂
those parts are not necessary, they are stiffeners for front and the rear (two different sets). completely up to you if you want to make front or rear sections stiffer or not
Sorry about that. I found those by acident. I’m only asking because the Street Jam pulley holders come with those..
No problem, I am sure many people have found it already 🙂 Just a warning those, eagle racing warns the stiffener pieces only work with Eagle R31 products, these are not meant for fastening to Street Jam FRP bulkheads. They may not fit.
It sounds like your car is already hopped up with aluminum and CF, so if that is the case these are probably not necessary. It really depends on how you like your chassis to behave and how you tune it. Chassis stiffness is good but flex is also not a bad thing.
Well, I said that I have the graphite chassis but it arrives only Monday(cross fingers 🙂 ). I’m waiting for it for 1 month..
The only aluminium I have for it is the lower bulkheads and the motor mount. Besides the front and rear pulley holders, I think I’m only getting the steering assembly
The front stiffeners add some much needed rigidity to the front pulley assembly. But, you have to take off the spur gear to remove the right side stiffener, to remove the front pulley bulkhead… The rears, didn’t see the need to install mine.
